The Schwalbe Marathon is the forefather of all high-quality touring tires and the undisputed original. For a safe journey, the puncture protection belt of Schwalbe Marathon Drahtreifens was optimized and developed the GreenGuard. This 3mm thick layer of highly elastic natural rubber is obtained from a third of recycled material, so that the soul of the Schwalbe marathon is green. 

The side wall of the Schwalbe Marathon wire tire is specially designed for the loads with lower air pressure and effectively prevents ugly aging cracks (anti-aging). In addition, the Endurance Compound noticeably improves performance and durability.

GreenGuard

Same operating principle as the SmartGuard but only approx. 3 mm thick. One-third of highly elastic natural rubber is made from recycled latex products. For this purpose, Schwalbe has developed its own process technology. In the Schwalbe factories, old products made of natural rubber (such as gloves, hoses, etc.) are shredded and returned to production as basic material through several process steps. 

TwinSkin

Twin refers to an additional gumming of the sidewall, which protects against cuts and allows a uniform coloration. 

E-Bike Ready 50

For fast e-bikes, a special release of the tires is necessary. Tires with Europe-wide valid ECE-R75 approval are the simplest solution here. All Energizer tires bear the test mark and are approved for vehicles up to 50 km / h. 

E-Bike Ready 25

Recommendation for pedelecs with pedal assistance up to 25 km / h. Lawmakers do not prescribe special tires here, but pedelecs tend to have higher loads and average speeds than normal bikes
